Plastic Free Ecochallenge Results

We will be donating to two organizations.

Of 383 ecochallenge teams, the ACHS team placed

  • 9th overall
  • 2nd among schools
  • & 1st place in Oregon!

The ACHS “challenge” was to score at least 10,000….and we earned 19676 points in the end!

ACHS will be donating: $1,000 to MudBone Grown, an Oregon Black-owned intergenerational farm enterprise with a mission to to enhance food security, reduce energy use, and improve community health and well-being. Check out their Solidarity Love Shares CSA initiative! $500 to Ocean Matters, known for marine science through service, chosen by our highest scoring ACHS student, Lauren Steele, scored 1321 points, leading our team to victory!
